Workshop: Fresh Wreath Making (28 November)
Here we go again!
Christmas without a Christmas wreath doesn’t sound right – good thing it's the time of the year when we run our Fresh Wreath Making workshops.
And this year we're holding our classes at a new beautiful location - LUNA Diner+Bar at The Grandstand, Turf Club Road.
Bring out your creativity and make something unique for the festive season as I go through the process of crafting a wreath with a combination of fresh and dried seasonal elements, using a wiring technique. I’ll teach you bundling to build your wreath, and you'll be able to customise your creation using pine branches, cones, winter foliage and flowers.
The wreath will last till Christmas as it dries nicely, so its perfect to hang on your door to bring the sprit of the season to your home, or paired with a candle in the middle as a centrepiece for your dinner table.
Refreshments will be provided by LUNA. Participants can choose between a glass of Prosecco, or a coffee/tea & cake set.
The workshop will cover:
1. Basic wreath arrangement theory and introduction to wreathing tools
2. Preparing flowers and foliage
3. Wiring the wreath base
4. Designing and building the wreath using a bundling technique
6. Care tips
Date: 28 November
Time: 3pm - 4:30pm
Location: LUNA Diner+Bar. The Grandstand, 200 Turf Club Road #01-06, S(287994).
Free parking available.
All workshop materials, including a 25 cm straw wreath base, branches, ingredients, tools and accessories will be provided during the workshop. You will take home your beautiful wreath.
