It’s been a while since G+S journal was updated, and I’m so happy to bring the posts back!
Back in 2020 I had my first giveaway together with Bridefully Yours, and that’s how I first met our winners – Zaylea and Gabriel, whose wedding I proudly worked on in 2021.
The pre-wedding shoot dresses curated by Bridefully Yours were just gorgeous. To compliment them we went for a soft romantic but modern look: unbelievably beautiful blooms of garden roses, towers of astilbe, white sweet peas, rose gold foliage and fillers, dusty pink accents and my favourite anthuriums, painted pearl colour, all tied with a flowy hand-dyed silk ribbon in matching colours. It definitely is one of my favourite bouquets up to date.
Then the wedding day arrived! The theme of their intimate wedding was the infamous Bridgerton show, and that was so much fun to work on! For this beautiful, romantic and classy theme we went with soft and whimsical design and a gorgeous palette of beige, mink, lilac, diffused orchid, peach and sky blue. Think of big bloomed roses, matthiola and delphinium, fluffy coloured gypsophila, and a tiny touch of greens. The bride wanted a circular arch as the backdrop, which was repurposed form the ceremony to the lunch reception, and to the photo taking area later on.
Though the weather didn’t favour us (from extreme heat during the setup to a hurricane thunderstorm for solemnization, and then back to the extreme heat), it all went so well!
